Three books of historical fiction tell the story of
the Queen of Palmyra who led her country in rebellion against Rome
and almost overturned the Roman Empire. It is a huge tale of war,
love, sex, high life and politics, religious turmoil, murder,
heroism, and romance.
The first book ("The World As It Was") has now been published:
"Zenobia has all the hallmarks of a best-seller": Niala Maharaj, author of Like Heaven (Random House 2006)
The rebellion in the years 269-272 AD, what led up
to it, and its terrible consequences, as told in the book, is all
true. Zenobia nearly changed the Middle East forever. The story is
still relevant in our time, with some of the same battles still being
fought over the same lands today.
